Envato's freelance marketplace offers now delivered almost 200,000 unique jobs
Envato Studio has passed a major milestone this month, clocking up more than $10m USD in freelance creative jobs.
Founded in July 2009, Envato’s freelance marketplace is home to more than 500 digital experts offering in excess of 3000 different creative services, covering everything from logo design to website installations, app development, content marketing and more.
In reaching the $10m milestone, Envato Studio has now delivered more than 186,000 unique jobs.
While there is high demand for custom jobs, where freelancers negotiate a specific job up to a value of $5,000 USD, the most popular service remains Envato Studio’s express jobs, which can cost as little as $20.
Envato’s creative community earns an average of $92 USD per job, with logo design being the most popular category.
Customer Group General Manager David Brice said Envato Studio stood out in a competitive freelance marketplace sector by providing a comprehensive range of services that sets both freelancers and customers up for success.
“The big advantage Envato Studio has is that from day one we have advocated for the freelancer, establishing a robust process that protects the integrity of both the creative and the customer.”
“This is one of the secrets of its longevity, that Studio is great at connecting people globally, having them work collaboratively through a platform that is engineered to provide a positive outcome for both parties,” continued Brice.
“We also offer a range of services that is among the most comprehensive in the world, providing solutions for all design, audio, video and web needs, whether it’s a full end-to-end project like branding a new business, copywriting and content creation, voice-overs or a simple website installation.”
One of Envato Studio’s most popular freelancers, Indonesian-based logo designer Sukianto Tan aka sukiafat, has successfully delivered more than 6000 jobs over the last six years.
“It’s a great experience working with Envato Studio. It’s simple to use and easy to get jobs done as a creative freelancer, the platform is good and it’s easy to communicate with clients.”
“The key to success on Envato Studio is being responsive, understanding the brief and what a client’s needs are. I keep improving myself to share my creative ideas my clients and I’ve built up a loyal customer base along the way.”
