"“We’re incredibly proud of all of our staff who have each contributed to this result and, ultimately, making an Envato a place we all want to come in and work for each and every day.”
Envato has yet again been named as one of Australia’s best places to work after being ranked 12th in the annual 2017 Best Places to Work Study.
It is the third time the company has been recognised as one of the top 25 employers in the country by the Study, and the third time it is placed inside the top 20. A 12th place ranking improves on its 2016 performance by five spots (17th).
Founder and CEO of Envato Collis Ta’eed said the company was proud of being recognised in this way. “As a company, we are committed to ensuring that we have the right people and the right environment. This, and related values we hold dear - such as the right to a fair go and providing a diverse and inclusive workplace - have been central to Envato’s success not just as an employer, but as a business. I hope all of our staff feel as excited and proud as I am about this news, as it reflects positively on all of their hard work.”
Envato HR Manager Amber Johnson thanked the entire Envato team for helping to make the company a genuinely great place to work. “Being recognised as a great place to work is not just down to the policies and procedures we oversee as a HR team. It requires a truly positive and inclusive culture, and that doesn’t happen by accident or by the force of will of one person.”
“We’re incredibly proud of all of our staff who have each contributed to this result and, ultimately, making an Envato a place we all want to come in and work for each and every day.”
Based on one of the world’s most comprehensive studies of workplace culture by Great Place to Work Australia, the study authors announced that the quality of this year’s study was higher than ever. “This is an exciting, transformative and competitive time for companies,” said Zrinka Lovrencic, MD of Great Place to Work Australia. “With a services sector heavy economy, employers now need to make a greater effort to improve their workplace cultures in order to retain employees.”
“This competitive pressure benefits everyone, as all workplaces can increase their levels of employee engagement. The companies that have made the 2017 study have risen to this challenge and exemplify workplace culture excellence.”
The 2017 Best Places to Work will be published in a feature insert in Australian Financial Review and www.greatplacetowork.com.au on Wednesday 30th August, 2017.
