Envato co-founders Collis and Cyan Ta’eed have been recognised as Entrepreneurs of the Year, as part of the global EY Entrepreneur of the Year award program.
Collis and Cyan received the honor (winners in the Services category for the Southern Region of Australia).
They now go on to represent their region in the national competition.
Collis said the Entrepreneur of the Year program gives you permission to take stock and reflect.
“It makes you feel like wow, we’ve come good,” he said.
“After nearly 10 years growing Envato, it’s wonderful to have the company and the work we’ve done acknowledged by the awards,” says Cyan Ta’eed.
Both Collis and Cyan were impressed and buoyed by their fellow nominees.
“The other entrepreneurs we have met have been incredibly inspiring, and honestly every single one deserved to win,” said Cyan.
