Inside Envato

Proud to be diverse

Last week Envato joined the Australian National Recruitment Guide (ANRG), an annual publication developed to show lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex graduates and jobseekers those Australian organisations that are LGBTI inclusive.

ANRG organisations are actively engaged in LGBTI workplace inclusion initiatives.

Though we’ve always valued diversity, this is our first appearance in the guide, and we’re excited to be a part of such an important initiative. We want all LGBTI job seekers and grads to know that Envato will welcome their skills and talents, and value them for being exactly who they are.

This year Envato created an LGBTI and Allies network group, called Out Envato, to promote inclusivity and awareness amongst our employees and community members.

We like the way the Hon Michael Kirby AC explains it:

“While many employees feel comfortable to be themselves at work, let’s not lose sight of the fact that many more do not. Where we stand today is still not good enough. The more inclusive your workplace culture, the more likely people will be to engage, respect and contribute to the organisation they are working for.”

If your organisation is interested in getting involved, you can visit If you’re a member of the LGBTQI community looking for work in Australia, you can download the guide here.

We’re also proud to join other Australian businesses in support of Marriage Equality.
