WordCamp US

Details TBA

In 2015 WordCamp San Francisco, held in October this year, will be replaced by WordCamp US. The name and details of the event have yet to be finalised.

As the original location for the very first WordCamp in 2006, the San Francisco event is the biggest WordCamp globally. A major drawcard for this event is Matt Mullenweg, co-founder of WordPress, giving his annual State of the Word presentation. In 2014 the WordCamp schedule was filled with speakers talking about a range of topics including branding, blogging, user experience, design and more.

Tickets won’t be available until the event is organised, so keep an eye on Twitter for updates.

WordCamp Europe

Details TBA

A group of international WordPress users collaborated to organise the second annual WordCamp Europe in Bulgaria in September 2014 and plan to organise it again next year.

According to the Twitter account the plans are in motion but limited information is available at this time. If it is anything like this year’s event, attendees can expect a full two days of talks in categories such as design, business, humanities as well as talks for both intermediate and advanced developers.

Like the attendees, speakers came from around the world with a range of difference specialties including engineering, design, user experience and more. Videos from WordCamp Europe 2014 can be found on its website.

For event and ticket information keep an eye on Twitter and for updates.

Your local WordCamp

At a location near you

If the larger international WordCamps are out of reach in 2015, the best thing to do is to attend a local WordCamp in your area.

Since the first WordCamp took place in San Francisco in 2006, over three hundred WordCamps have taken place around the world. You can see the schedule of planned events for 2015 on the WordCamp website.
